Letter of Appeal to Our Sponsors
Dear Friends,
We hope to find you are doing well and adapting to what has been an extraordinary year. Due to the current pandemic, we canceled our Annual Charity Dinner & Dance. The need for your support, however, has not diminished.
For many of us, this pandemic has meant canceled summer plans and a new age of digital gatherings. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said for our recipients in Nepal. Their situation is much more dire. At present, for many of the children, their education is secondary to their need for basic survival. Parents have lost their means of income which has led to an elevated risk of starvation and domestic violence.
Eyrie will maintain its commitments to the Moran Memorial School, St. Xavier’s School in Sadakbari and the St. Xavier’s Social Service Centre. Your ongoing support throughout the years has provided many children with an opportunity to ascend from poverty to become teachers, nurses, police officers and much more. For that we are forever grateful.
We appeal to your continued generosity during this very difficult time when many families here are also experiencing hardships. Any amount in support of our families in Nepal is greatly appreciated.
